Catering Sales Manager
I was born and raised in Minnesota. I have been in the hospitality industry for 20 years. At age 15 I started as a car hop waitress at A&W then I moved on to being a banquet server for a local catering company. Growing up I always thought I wanted to be a teacher until a friend convinced me to study Travel & Hospitality which led me to working at a resort in Nisswa, MN. I graduated in 2002 and got a job at a catering company in Downtown Saint Paul. I was there for 11 years before I went into hotel sales. I missed catering and event planning so after 5 years I decided to search for my next adventure. I believe you must have a passion for what you do and take pride in it. I think Como Park Zoo & Conservatory is such an amazing place to host an event so it’s a perfect fit for me.
